Surrounded green trees and flowers, Patterson Pagoda looks fantastic, and the view of its top is gorgeous: Patapsco River with Key Bridge, great Fort McHenry, Baltimore downtown and neighborhoods.

A spiral staircase and balconies also impress with their beauty. Bring a picnic bracket with a blanket – it will not be superfluous after visiting Pagoda.

Even though Pagoda is closed for visitors during winter, it hosts the Friends annual Moonlight Pagoda event in December, when garlands are lit on the facade. Also, it’s a perfect background for various activities. So, the walk near Pagoda will be pleasant at any time of year.

4. Get up to the Top of the World Observation Level

You can see the entire city, all its directions with parks, buildings, harbor, and ships: an exciting panoramic view.
